Sunday afternoon was filled with some softball as everyone was scheduled a double header after the week one cancellations due to weather. The weather definitely aided some quality softball as the mid 80 degree temperatures set the stage nicely for all involved. While the two game schedule for the league may have intimidated a few, MVPness didn’t wanna hear any excuses whatsoever!
The darker grey shirted group of friends battled it out this evening over at the fence-less Fretz Park. They made sure to test the boundaries a few teams at the plate and showed continued awareness as soccer players loosely walked through the outfield onto their pitch, which resided just adjacent north to us. They heckled each other back and forth the whole night and ended up splitting their two game slate. Kudos to them and best of luck to everyone moving forward.
