Another beautiful night at the McInnish softball fields was capped off with two great games. All four teams battled it out on a breezy night as everyone has seemed to have gotten the grove now that we’ve passed the halfway point on the season. The second game was probably the matchup of the night as the sun settled down and the wind started to calm, setting the perfect stage for the rematch from week one.
Everything seemed to be lined up for a battle but sometimes ya know, Pitches Be Crazy. A rough start placed the royal blue Pitches Be Crazy squad in a hole to begin the 1st as the gave up 6 in the bottom half. They ever gave up though and fought back hard all the way to the end. They found themselves with runners on in the last inning but fell just short. A fantastic team though with a bunch of lively people always makes the night more fun, which we always appreciate at LoneStar SSC.
