Wind was howling this evening across north Texas and it didn’t let up on the McInnish soccer fields in Carrollton by any means. The strong breeze from the north side of the field truly made the initial rock-paper-scissors battle important, as captains needed to make a crucial decision on where they began to start the match. While a few of the team leaders struggled with the critical judgement so early in the night, other teams were confident right out the gate.
One of those confident groups was no surprise to anyone if you knew the friendly bunch, or perhaps just saw their team name; Bitter Sisters Without the Sisters. Unfortunately they’re missing their dynamic duo this season but still respected them enough to leave their team name intact, for the most part at least. Either way the played with the wind at their backs in the second half and put in an incredible girl goal late to take the lead and eventually win. Kudos to them and best of luck to everyone in the last few weeks.
