Kickball is back! It was week 1 out at Norbuck for another Spring kickball league for Lonestar SSC. We had some familiar faces from last season but also some new teams which is always nice to see. We had a rematch of last seasons championship game to jump start the season, which did not disappoint.
You can tell Kick in a Box and Pitch Please deserved to be at the top of the league last season as they faced off to start off week 1. In a back and forth game, it seemed as if no team could gain the upper hand. This was a defensive matchup that just one small slip up could make the difference. Neither team could break away during the game, which ended in a tie. Kick in a Box and Pitch Please will definitely be looking to face off again down the road to avenge this tie.
