It was Championship week for our Wednesday night kickball league and it was full of surprises. The biggest of the night involved our newest members, KICK ME OUSSIDE. Throughout the season, they have shown their enthusiasm and competitiveness at every game. From slamming cold beers on the sidelines, to smashing the ball on the field; they fight to the finish.
The battle of the night began with KICK ME OUSSIDE, taking on the first-place team, Kickin’ Grass & Takin’ Names, who they lost two previous two battles to; in regular season. KICK ME OUSSIDE came ready to fight, and they did. The game was close until the fourth inning when they took the lead and held their ground until the end. The battle finished 5-2 in the end. This led them onto to the Championship game against one of our veteran teams, Hyundai Genesis. KICK ME OUSSIDE managed to continue the magic and win the Hopscape division with a score of 6-4. Watch out everyone, we have some rookies ready to play!
