New to the kickball league this year is a team, who’s name says it all, Just Here For Beer. Besides a team just full of fun, energetic, beer-loving people, they also have some serious kickball skills. Crushing their opponents, the last 2 out of 3 games, they are making a statement.
Their game tonight was against last season’s runner-up in the Championship, Pitch Please. Just Here for the Beer didn’t let this team rub it in their faces either; they gave them a run for their money. The game was a close match up through each inning, but Pitch Please came out on top 5-4. Hopefully, come playoffs, we will see another match up of these two teams. This goes to show that there is a new team that is ready to play and isn’t…Just Here for the Beer.
