Another Wednesday means another night of kickball our at Norbuck! The rain on Monday halted some leagues for playing but not us at Norbuck! We had some competitive games tonight as teams are now used to the rules and getting ready for the playoffs next week. Our top two teams in the standings battled it out tonight, Kickalcoholics and Kick in a Box.
These two teams came ready to claim the top spot in the league. Kickalcoholics started off fast the first two innings as scored two runs on sacrifice flies in the 2nd inning. Kick in a Box kept getting runners in scoring position all night, but was not able to capitalize. Kickalcoholics defense was stingy and aggressive all night as they made every play needed. Kickalcoholics was able to capture the win to take control of first place 3-2. This could very well be the match up for the championship during playoffs.
