Football weather finally blessed us this evening as the chilly breeze kept everyone cozy after a few runs down the field. Everyone seemed to agree as points were being scored on a majority of the possessions. Offenses were in full gear and for the first time all year, no shutouts were recorded! An awesome night couldn’t be complete without the old rivalry between Sons of Stitches and the Crusty Sock.
Crusty Sock has been on a run these past few weeks and have picked up some steam heading into the last half, but that wasn’t stopping these Sons of Stitches; tonight was their night. Looking for their first points on the young season, a Hail Mary pass was thrown late in the second half. The big man fought off a deflection from the jumping defender and tipped the ball up to himself for an incredible grab. Sons of Stitches finally snagged their first W of the season.
