As basketball continues to fill the screens on the weekends, softball is bringing the real madness on Sunday evenings. Teams are truly having fun out there and the scoreboard basically goes unnoticed as the social aspect continues to dominate. Drinks are steadily flowing now that everyone can protect their faces and there’s no denying the bar loves us afterwards.
No one fits the bill more so than the Scared Hitless squad in the light blue. Unfortunately, their name defined who they were in the early innings as they couldn’t muster a run for the first 3. A little shorthanded, they started figuring out how to play defensively and then the bats started to come around. The time ran out as they were down by 12 runs and battled all the way back in the final inning. Eventually losing by 3 runs to Menace 2 Sobriety, they gave it a great run there at the end and it was a heck of a game.
