It was the first week for our Sunday softball league and all teams in the league came ready to play! The opening game with Texas Strangers and Menace 2 Sobriety in fact, showed just that, and did not disappoint.
Texas Strangers came out and made a statement. Their bats were able to bring in the max 7 runs per inning. However, Menace 2 Sobriety showed they weren’t going to back down that easy. They were able to settle into the second inning and hit 7 runs for the inning. Texas Strangers took advantage of a few errors made by Menace 2 Sobriety in the 2nd and 3rd innings to get runs in. Although Menace 2 Sobriety brought 7 more runs in the last inning to take a lead of 15-11, Texas Strangers answered right back with a rally and took the W with a 16-15 score.
