Another great night out at Fair Oaks for some LoneStar softball! This league is full of fun, social teams who love to have a good time and play some softball. Having a few new faces in this league is always a good thing, as we’ve had a perfect mix of new teams and some veteran LoneStar teams to our softball league.
Tonight we had 4 games on the schedule with two teams, I Like Big Bunts and FBRD both having double headers. This week was another showing of who were the dominant teams and what teams were still looking to find their groove. Game one was a really good game of our two newly formed teams , Screwballs and I Like Big Bunts. This game came down to the bottom of the fifth inning before time ran out. It was a back and forth game but Screwballs got their first victory of the season and a few team members later celebrated with an ice cold pitcher of beer over at the Barley House.
