Week 1 has come and gone! The new “no female touch rule” is a huge change in 8v8 soccer, but it looks like teams are taking advantage of the open flow! Teams enjoyed some games like water pong on the sidelines before and after their games. All of these teams are fun to be around, making it seem like it’ll be a very fun season.
The game of the night goes to the final match played, No Subs FC vs the brand new team, About To Get Messi. No Subs FC is a veteran team in the league, and showed this by scoring 3 first half goals. But Its About To Get Messi showed that they are a contending team in the league and fought back in the second half with two unanswered goals. However, it was not enough to overcome No Subs FC, as they won 3-2.
