Last week of the season! As the playoffs are next week, teams know that this is the last chance to polish up their games and make a push for a playoff spot. Though we had some rain this week, that didn’t stop our teams from coming out in full force to kick the ball around. One of our top teams came out ready to put other teams on notice for the playoffs, and that was Balls Deep.
Balls Deep faced off against About To Get Messi, who won the first game of their doubleheader tonight. Balls Deep made sure that Messi wouldn’t be winning both games tonight as they came out guns blazing. Balls Deep scored a season high 8 goals to top Messi 8-2. Balls Deep led the league with 32 goals this season and are primed for a deep playoff run.
