It was Championship night in our Thursday night league at Gateway Park. All teams came ready to attack, especially One Kick Wonders. All season long they have been battling wins and losses; coming into playoffs with a 3-3 record. This was the night that they were determined to show they aren’t just a one kick wonder.
Starting off their first game, they took on Ball’n Barristers. Let me tell you, this match was nothing short of easy. Balls were flying, and points were being scored, but One Kick Wonders came out on top 9-7. The next matchup was against Boston Beer, who both had a 1-1 record against each other in regular season. Both teams wanted the ship, but One Kick Wonders came out on top 5-4. Congrats to the team! We hope to see you out next season!
