Championship night at our Thursday indoor volleyball league at the Sportsplex was an intense one! Both the teams in the final round were showing some serious talent. Communication on both sides was there, along with teamwork and strategy.
The longtime, Lonestar volleyball team, Set it Off, came looking for the gold as playoffs hit the sportsplex court. Set it Off went against the Sand Scrap 10.0 team. This match was close throughout, but Set It Off had a late surge and closed out the match for the W. Their next challengers were the Setting Ducks. These two teams have a history playing in the playoffs and some fireworks started early. But Set it Off worked though it and earned their third championship in-a-row and the coveted bar tab at the Addison Ice House! Nice work Set it Off!
