Playoff time! The season has come down to this moment as our teams fight to be crowned as champions. The top six teams showed up ready to rumble at SportsPlex but only one would leave as the champs.
The championship came down to our top two seeds, Shark Bait and Set It Off. Set It Off is a well known LoneStar team, as they wanted to cement their name as LoneStar history. Shark Bait on the other hand was looking to be the predator, and not the prey. Shark Bait came out hot and was victorious in the first set, while Set It Off came back and took the second set. The third and final set was up for grabs and both teams went back-and-forth with the lead. Set It Off took a commanding lead and even though Shark Bait fought back, they earned themselves the championship and celebrated at the Addison ice house with some Sam Adams and food. Great job guys!
