It was the final week of the regular season for indoor volleyball at Sportsplex tonight. Teams were fighting for playoff position and seeding to improve their chances at a run for the championship. Our most competitive game of the night was between Cash Me Inside and Sand Scraps 9.0.
Sand Scraps had already locked in the last playoff spot while Cash Me Inside had already been eliminated from playoff contention, but that didn’t stop these teams from competing tonight. Sand Scraps ran away with the first set with no problem but Cash Me Inside returned the favor by dominating the second set, 21-10. The third and final set was intense, as the teams went back and forth scoring points. Sand Scraps were able to pull out the win in a good test to prepare them for next weeks playoffs. Congrats to Sand Scraps!
