Playoff time! These teams have kicked their ways to this moment of the season to try and be named Kickball Champions. Even though it was the playoffs, all of our teams still remained social and showed great sportsmanship with each other. Teams that lost even stuck around to watch the championship game, which was nice to have a crowd for the championship game.
The Championship was between our top 2 seeds, Balls and Dolls vs Netkicks and Chill. Balls and Dolls won the regular season matchup so it was known that Netkicks and Chill wanted their revenge. The game was extremely close all the way up to the bottom of the 7th inning with Netkicks and Chill up by two runs and Balls and Dolls up to kick to try to win the game. Netkicks and Chill made an amazing double play and sealed the championship not allowing any runs in the bottom half of the 7th inning. All four playoff teams went to Addison Ice House afterwards to enjoy some Samuel Adams and food. Congrats to Netkicks and Chill!
