Week 2 of our HMS sand volleyball league was up and running tonight at Mustang Park! Our teams came ready to spike and dive in the sand to make sure their team got the win! The weather was perfect in Irving tonight as All About That Ace attempted to continue their dominance, though Dig My Ace had other plans.
All About That Ace came in as the reigning champions of the league and met Dig My Ace in tonight’s matchup. The first set was by far the most competitive of the night with All About That Ace racking up point after point on an off balance Dig My Ace. Dig My Ace found themselves down 15-8 but found a second gear that broke the AATB serve to break through and win 21-18. The wind began to sway during the second set but that didn’t stop the former champs All About That Ace from finishing off Dig My Ace. Congrats to All About That Ace!
