Games were heated this evening in both the figurative and literal sense. Playoffs are right around the corner and teams are trying to fight for a spot in the post season action. Tonight, the opening game was the hottest and also the most competitive out at Josey. The sweat was pouring on and so were the points as we found ourselves at half with a 16-13 advantage.
Faith & Friends held the lead early as they converted both their two point plays in the first half. Dolls & Balls weren’t going to let them run away with it and made sure to bring it all out in the second half. They came out with vengeance and had a huge goal line stop at the end of the game. Dolls & Balls marched all the way down the entire field and had one play left to win or lose. Eventually, after a rushless down, the quarterback found the open guy for a walk-off win. Kudos to them and looking forward to seeing everyone next week!
